1.SPRING- CASUAL

After a long cold winter, it’s time to shed a layer off and show a little leg again! My favorite way to wear slip dresses in the springtime is by layering them with a crisp white t-shirt. This styling tip makes the dress feel a bit more casual and versatile. You can throw on a leather jacket or a denim jacket depending on the temperature. Finish the look off with a pair of your favorite sneakers and you are ready for whatever the day will bring!

2. SUMMER- SPECIAL EVENT

As the temperatures get hotter, so should your wardrobe. Take the layers you’ve been wearing wearing off and show off your sun-kissed skin! A slip dress is a great option to wear out to date night and/ or a wedding during the summer. I especially love a bold color like this yellow for the warmer months!

3. FALL- TRENDY STREETSTYLE

On the weekends you can wear the dress with a t-shirt on top to give the illusion that it is a skirt. To give you warmth while adding fashion points to your look, throw on a bomber jacket and beanie. I also love adding fun details like feminine fishnet stockings over chunky combat boots.

4. FALL- WORK

Autumn is all about layering! Slip dresses are a very versatile piece to layer. You can wear it as a dress with a belter blazer on top to work. This combination is great for work- staying professional and chic. For chilly weather, wear a scarf and tuck it into the blazer.

5. WINTER- EVERYDAY CHIC

While many of us don’t want to wear dresses during the winter, once in a while it feels good to throw on something that isn’t bulky.

One way to wear a slip dress during the winter is by throwing on a turtleneck on top, making the dress look more like a skirt. Pair this look with a chic tailored long coat which will add interest to the outfit with different lengths. A good cheetah print bootie will make this look fun and bold!

6. WINTER- FULL ON FASHION

Another way to wear a slip dress during the winter is with faux fur! This piece adds a fun element to the look. You can even try to play up the color combo like I did with the yellow and pink. Take the drab out of winter with a diva look wearing a slip dress!

THE POWER SUIT- The Full Pant Suit

This look is bold and is a major power play look. Wear the full suit together when you want to create a statement because you will definitely be the center of attention. A great way to make a suit look modern is by wearing it with a sleek sleeveless turtleneck. It’s more interesting than the usual white button up. If you are on the petite side, my favorite trick is to belt the blazer. The tip is essential if the blazer is a bit longer, hitting the hip. Belting the blazer really helps define the body by showing the waist. It will also help your legs look longer.

JUST THE BLAZER- The Trendy Fashionista

A blazer is probably the most versatile piece in the suit. You can wear the blazer with an endless array of bottoms- from another pair of slacks, jeans, leggings, and a skirt. This blazer and skirt combination is flirty yet powerful look. With this look, go for a slightly longer length skirt (midi length is best) and add a slit to make the look sexier. I love pairing something classic with a touch of something trendy. The mix of the classic tweed works perfectly by introducing the zebra animal print. Finish the look off with trendy tortoise shell accessories.

STYLING THE PANTS- The Casual Cool Cutie

The pants of a suit are the most comfortable part. So wearing them repeatedly is a must! My favorite outfit formula is by pairing the pants with a casual graphic t-shirt and a fun jacket. Wearing a graphic tee is the key to making any outfit look casual. To relax the pants even more, pair them with a bomber jacket. The oversized puffiness adds volume and interest to the top but is balanced out by the sleek pants. These two items automatically make any look, look so cool.
