A little black dress is something every woman should own. It's a classic staple that can be worn for many occasions. It can be dressed up or down depending on the event and here's a perfect example how one LBD is worn in two ways.
I love a good fit and flare silhouette. I've said this many times, it's a great shape that flatters all body types. This Aidan Mattox black midi length dress is the perfect LBD for several reasons. First, the fit and fabric are great! There's stretch in the material, allowing you a little room to breath and move around. Second, the scoop neck is great to show off a pretty statement necklace. Third, the sheer grid detail shows the right amount of skin while still being very classy and adding a little mystery. Last but not least, pockets!! You all know I love a dress with pockets! Saves my life every time so I can carry a little purse or clutch.
For the day look, I wore a basic cotton t-shirt but tied a knot to show the waist. You can also leave it unknotted, but because I'm on the short side, I needed something to show my shape. Adding a t-shirt is a great illusion to making the dress appear as if it's really a skirt. I threw on some cute camouflage slip on sneakers and denim jacket for a casual feel.
The night look is all about the simple yet statement making little black dress. I kept it simple by wearing all black but adding a sparkly necklace. Tip: wear all black when you don't know what to wear. It will always be in style and look very chic.
