Summer Stripped Set

This summer, it's all about set dressing. Two piece sets are everywhere!

I love this two-piece set because the cute ruffle details, the thigh high slit, and I don't need to worry about flashing anyone thanks to the built in shorts under the skirt! 

It's the perfect combo for the summer and so on trend. I also like how I can wear the top with a pair of jeans or pair the skirt with a t-shirt for a completely different look; basically two outfits in one. This set is versatile and great for so many occasions. 

I am wearing a size large and fits well. I am usually a size 6/8.

How To Make Work Wear Fun Again

Are you bored of getting dressed every morning for work? Feeling basic wearing the same black slacks and white button down? I know getting dressed for corporate America, 9 to 5 jobs, can be quite boring! It's hard to find great pieces that are fun yet appropriate for the office and are priced well. 

These are the tips I have for revamping your wardrobe for work:

1. Try a blouse that has cut outs like a cold shoulder or a fun detail like a bow. The blouse I'm wearing here is under $20!

2. Mix the colors up! I opted to wear this beautiful blush pink coat with the blue and navy colors. This coat is also only $24!!!

3. Instead of wearing pants, try a fitted pencil skirt. I love a great pencil skirt because it can be worn with multiple items and can go from desk to dinner. For the winter, I think leather is a great material to incorporate in work wear. It's edgy but still understandable.
