During the winter, we naturally tend to wear darker colors. But this doesn’t always have to be the case. Wearing white during the winter is totally acceptable and today I’m going to show you a few ways to style white! My blogger babes Tricia, Lisa, and Selma are also showing you different ways to style white! Comment below and tell me which look is most “you”!
One of my favorite reasons to wear white during winter is because I feel like I get my money's worth wearing something I would wear during the summer too! I’m all about recycling and wearing a piece more than just once!
A white dress is easy to translate to fall/winter looks. My answer is to style it with an oversized blazer and boots! A blazer instantly warms the look up and makes it look well put together. Another tip I have when wearing white is to pair it with a snakeskin print! The coloring looks so good with white. That’s why I opted to wear these knee high snakeskin boots. It brings out the browns from the blazer as well as adding an element of interest against the white dress.
All of the jewelry we are wearing is from Lagos and can be shopped HERE.
Tricia- White Embellished Sweater with White Trousers
I love Tricia’s look for the office or desk to dinner! She looks so sophisticated with the white pleated trousers and adds a little flare with the pearls on her sweater. It is the perfect mix of professional and play. This is what Tricia has to say about wearing white during the Winter:
I have always associated white with the winter season for several reasons. One of them is the snow being white itself, but also another for seeing winter as a blank white canvas waiting for spring to arrive and flowers to paint colors on. Because winter takes place in the end and the beginning of a year, it also often gives a sense of "re-start." And white seems right to begin a new fashion journey with!
Tricia’s tip:
Give the monochromatic head-to-toe white look a try but mix and match different textures and materials so the outfit wouldn’t look “flat”.
Because of the grey weather, I tend to have less desire to style colorful pieces in the winter and would stick to neutral colors, and while black makes me feel a little less energetic, white is able to still offer me that “brighter” mood thanks it’s freshness and crisp feel!

Lisa- White Crop Flare Jeans with White Puff Sleeve Sweater
Lisa’s cool girl look is perfect for casual work days, date night, and for the weekends! The puff sleeve sweater is trendy and fashionable. The crop flare jeans make the look relaxed and balance out the sweater. Lisa also paired her all white look with snakeskin boots (great minds think alike). This is what Lisa has to say about wearing white during the Winter:
Although I generally don't wear white after Labor Day, once in a while I like to be rebellious and wear all white to mentally get out of the endless winter days. My recommendation will be to opt for a cream-ish white or off-white sweater that shows off design details and style it with some snakeskin booties!
Selma- White Sweater with Beaded Fringe and White flare Leg Pants
Selma’s boho vibes make white look ultra cool for winter! My favorite part about her monochromatic look are the shapes her garments create. The big balloon sleeves with beaded fringe are very dramatic. The pants have simple clean lines that compliment the sweater perfectly.
This is what Selma has to say about wearing white during the Winter:
Ahhh I just love wearing white, I feel like it gives my style a sense of confidence boost. Now, even though I love wearing white during any season I always find myself freaking out because I feel as if I am going to get the garment dirty one way or the other. Nonetheless, I believe that no one can go wrong with wearing white during winter because I've never met anyone who has been disappointed by wearing this color. See more of Selma’s style HERE
Selma’s Tip:
I would say JUST GO FOR IT..so what if there are possibilities of the item getting dirty? Wear the color and own your look. Another thing is, during the winter if you don't want to be "extra" you can still stay within the winter season by simply wearing a white sweater or even a blazer. Wear that pop of white and show others that this color was not only invented to be worn during one season.
Sweater Dress & Turtleneck
Another way I wore that same white sweater dress is with a chunky turtleneck on top of it. This is by far the easiest way to take any dress of yours to a cold season. Give it a try with your favorite dress and turtleneck.
White Jeans
This winter, I saw so many women wearing white jeans that it early inspired me to try it out for myself. These jeans from Liverpool have great stretch and I love the button details at the hem. I try to shy away from white jeans because I feel they make me look bigger but these Liverpool pair were cut so well that I felt comfortable in them. To give these jeans a wintery feel, I decided to wear the chunky knit turtleneck. I love pairing oversized items with crop flare jeans.
Shop the white jeans HERE. To stick with the denim textures, I threw on this denim jacket. I really like mixing different denim colors and textures together to add interest. Shop the jacket HERE.
