Last weekend I went to a glamorous event-Casino de Paris held by Shanghai Mermaid!!

1920s was a great decade of amazing fashion! From beaded gowns, fringe, drop waists, handkerchief hems, fur stoles, feathers, headbands, pearls, gloves, and tons of glamour!! I love this era because fashion was over the top extravagant. Inspired by the Art Deco movement, clothing was mirrored through beading, seam lines, and jewelry. Because of the 1920's them, getting dressed up for this party was extra fun! I love getting dolled up for events and if you do too, Shanghai Mermaid parties are the perfect event for you!!

I wore this amazing fully beaded silver Aidan Mattox cocktail dress. The zig zag pattern moves your eye all over the dress and the beaded fringe is the icing on the cake! It was so much fun to dance in!! Aidan Mattox has some of the best beaded dresses and they are perfect for themed parties.

Casino de Paris really captured the mood of the 1920s from the lighting in the venue, performers, music, and the crowd. Party goers were dressed to the nines! The women were draped in beading and furs. The men were polished in suits and bow ties.
