Although this has been an usually warm Winter, there have still been a few cold days. When it's so cold out why wear just one coat? The double coat trend is definitely in favor for us during the chilly winter months. The key element about doubling coats is that they should be different styles, prints, or color. Mixing a solid with a print or a fitted with and oversized coat makes it a cool combination. Another tip is to leave the top coat unbuttoned to show the inner coat.
I combined my oversized burgundy coat with my plaid blazer coat. I decided to belt the blazer to show wait definition since I'm petite. My over the knee boots, leather skirt, and ribbed turtle neck were the finishing touches.
