If there's one thing that is worth buying this Fall/ Winter season, it's a statement coat! Whether it's colored, printed, embroidered, etc., it's worth investing in. I've always wanted a dream coat closet with a rainbow array of coats, #goals. What I do every year is hunt for a new or vintage coat to add to the collection.

Royal blue is one of my favorite colors. It compliments so many colors and really stands out amongst the crowd (you can probably see me blocks away haha).

A great way to wear a statement coat is by layering it with multiple pieces under. So when wearing the coat unbuttoned, it looks even more interesting. A key tip is to bring out the color of the coat, in your outfit. In my plaid dress, there are hints of royal blue in the stripes. Wearing contrasting colored accessories also makes the coat stand out even more, example: Carmel colored leather gloves.

Another favorite fashion trick of mine is wearing a button up shirt under a dress. It makes the look sophisticated, professional, and clean.
