The Winter months are all about layering and keeping warm. But doing this while looking fashionable is the tricky part. What's the secret? It is all about layering! I love to layer with different fabrics, prints, and textures. Combining different elements, like cotton and leather for example, adds interest to the look. It's unexpected but easily looks chic. This layering technique is great for work, school, dinners, or even a night out.

I paired this combination with distressed denim. I love the messiness of the rips against the polished button up. The red bag and heels add a fun pop of color. The cherry on top!
