As the seasons change, so do trends. As you know, animal prints were huge this Fall and Winter. See my previous post here and here. But this spring, a new animal is taking over the kingdom and it’s all about zebra print. It’s a classic animal that looks so sleek when worn in black and white or even mixed with a bold color. Make sure to check out zebra prints in interesting fabrics like sheer nets and sequins. It adds another dimension to the print and it looks great when paired with solid items.

Another huge trend that is coming back are neon colors! Remember how popular they were in the early 2000’s? I know my nails were always painted in neon pink.

Well, this spring, make sure to buy one neon colored item to mix into your outfits. I’ve been seeing neon turtlenecks, sweatshirts, shorts, and dresses. Today, they have been revamped to become more sleek and modern. Neon pieces are also quite sporty.

My favorite combination is a neon piece mixed with zebra print. Whether it’s neon pink, highlighter yellow, bright orange, or lime green, add a pop of color through a top or accessories.

In this look, the neon zebra skirt becomes more subtle because it is grounded with the black. I brought in some additional neon accents through my jewelry, bag, and tights.
