Summer Suits

Suits are a staple look for me all year round. Whether it’s snowing, or the sun is beaming down, a classic suit is a great look to wear from desk to dinner. But I understand, when the temperatures are scorching hot, you don’t want to be all wrapped up in fabric. So here are a few suit options to try for summer!

1. SLEEVELESS PANT SUIT/ BOLD COLORED SUIT

My favorite part of summer is the ability to wear bright colors! You’ve probably got a beautiful glowing tan that will compliment color nicely. Bold colors in suits are especially nice because you really make a head turning statement when walking into a room or your office. You wanna show your glow so opt for a sleeveless suit! This look is trendy, not overdone, and will keep you feeling cool in the heat. You can pair the sleeveless jacket with a skirt or tailored pants for a polished look. With the suit being such a clean look, I think it is the perfect opportunity to introduce some bright color.

2. SHORTS SUITS- LINEN LOVE

As the temperature rises to scoring temperatures, the less you wear, the better. But you still want to look classy. A shorts suit is my answer! You will look polished, professional, and fashionable. Don’t get discouraged by shorts either. Today there are so many different lengths to choose from so it flatters every body shape. Lengths ranging from mid thigh to knee, you can definitely find a suit to suit your needs.

For the days when the temperatures increase, go lighter with your fabric choice to stay cool (literally). Lightweight fabrics like linen are perfect to prevent your body from overheating/ sweating because the fabric can breathe!

3. WHITE BLAZER

The key to make any summer look clean and fresh is to incorporate some white! If there is one piece you should invest in this Summer, it is a white blazer or white vest! By throwing on a white blazer, it completely transforms a look to make it feel more “summer-y”. You can mix and match- wear a blazer over a dress, pants, or even dress it up with jeans. This one piece will elevate your look to become more fashion forward without looking like you are trying too hard.
