Spring and summer seasons are filled with events where the perfect cocktail dress is required! But finding the perfect dress for multiple occasions can be hard. When looking for a great dress, there are a few things I look for. First, I have to love the design. Whether the fabric is unique, details are interesting, or the cut is good- something has to immediately catch my eye. This dress had everything I was looking for. The fabric is amazing and the colors are beautiful together. The embellishment is like the whip cream on top (not a fan of cherries). Second, the dress has to be comfortable. After all, you will be wearing this dress for hours so you want to be able to move around without feeling constricted. This dress hugs just the right parts while hiding some at the same time. Did I mention, I can eat all I want without the food baby showing up! Makes this dress a winner! Third, the shape of the dress has to flatter my body. As you already know, I love a great fit and flare dress but a simple shift dress like this is just as amazing! An a-line shift is good for just about any body- from pear, square, or curvy. A bonus is when a dress has pockets. This dress allows me to carry a little clutch and I can carry my phone right in my pocket so I don't miss the perfect picturesque moment digging through my bag.
