Twenty Five

Wow I can't believe I'm really twenty five! I remember being a little girl and dreaming of the day I would be a "grown up". Now that I am a "grown up" (although it still doesn't feel like it most days), I dream of being a kid again. Funny how life works right? I've learned so much through out my twenty five years and I know I still have so much to learn but I am excited to see where this next year takes me!

I am so thankful for my family and friends but I am incredibly thankful for all of you who continue to read and support my blog. It started out as a passion project but has turned into something so much more. I have met so many wonderful creative people from designers, brands, bloggers, writers, photographers, and artists who inspire me. I truly appreciate the support from birthday wishes, emails, Instagram comments, and likes. It pushes me to take things to the next level and doesn't go unnoticed. THANK YOU!!

Words to all my twenty-somethings trying to figure out this thing called life: go after ALL the goals you have ever dreamed of! I'm making baby steps towards my goals and I still have a long way to go. Never bring yourself down by comparing yourself to others who are doing "better" than you. Instead, use that as encouragement and motivation to turning dreams into reality!

Ok enough with the mushy gushy stuff...let's talk about this amazing cape!! Every now and then we have to get glammed up- especially for birthdays! A little black dress and cape are the perfect pieces for creating an opulent look.

As you might know by now, the little black dress is one of my favorite things to wear. See some other posts here, here, and here. The LBD adds class and is perfect for any occasion. It's also the perfect mate for a statement printed cape like this. This mirror printed cape by designer Sara Di Salvo is beautiful!! I immediately fell in love with the unique colorful print the minute I saw it. The print is a little unusual but that's what I love the most. It make you really look at the cape, trying to figure out what it is.
