On a gorgeous Spring day, I went over to the Javitz Center in NYC for the New York International Auto Show. I was really excited as this was my first time ever attending an auto show. I know it doesn't seem like it, but I'm really into cars! I've always had this vision of myself stepping out of a luxury sports car, wearing a black dress with killer stilettos on, from the drivers side, of course. I think it's important as a woman to have the power to drive yourself and know as much about cars as possible so you don't need to depend on a man. #GirlPower
I was incredibly impressed by the selection of cars at the NYIAS (New York International Auto Show)! Brands like Toyota, Mazda, and Genesis were represented beautifully. My first thought was "how did they get this many cars inside here?!". There were hundreds of new innovative designs to check out.
The new luxury brand Genesis, stole my heart! From their intricate designer details, to new technical features, the G90 has to be one of the best luxury cars I have seen for $68k! The minute I sat inside of the G90, I felt amazing! The design of the wheel, premium leather interior, and middle console were elegant and had all the modern necessities for today. Plus, there are 22 ways you can adjust the drivers seat to make it perfectly comfortable for you! I loved this feature because being a 5 ft. 2 woman, it's not easy to get the seat just right, but Genesis made it possible.
Also, all vehicles come with a complimentary maintenance and service valet for three (3) years. Genesis will literally pick up your car, give you a loaner, and return your car serviced so you can spend your time how you want to. I love this about Genesis because I always dread going to the dealership and spending hours waiting.
The auto show is the perfect thing to check out with your dad, boyfriend, and especially your girls! Women who shop cars together, stay together! I mean we totally understand each other's needs! I think many women share the same concerns, like, "Does this car have the cameras I need to have the ability to parallel park seamlessly?" (personally, that's not one of my stronger suites), or "Is this car the right color?", "Does it have the safety features I need to protect my family?", and even something simple as "Is there a seat for my handbag!?". SheBuysCars.com helps empower women during the car buying process.
