3 Best Boozy Brunch Spots Under $30 in NYC

Brunch in NYC is taken very serious! It's not just a normal meal of eggs and toast, it can be a party! I love a great boozy brunch and after a year and a half in this great city, I have 3 favorites where food is tasty and the booze keeps flowing. the best part is that they are under $30!! All places below have a 2 hour unlimited booze brunch

1.

Place: Calle Ocho

Address: The Excelsior Hotel, 45 W 81st St, New York, NY 10024

Price: My full meal + Tip+ Tax= $27.79.

I got/ I recommend: The unlimited sangria's here are amazing and they keep flowing. You can also try multiple flavors. I got the Havana Banana (Yummmmm), Fresas, and Roja. All of them were amazing and quite strong. They are also pretty large-20 oz! For food, I got the Maiz y Camarones- "Sauteed Shrimp, Bacon, Manchego Cheese, Grits, Poached Egg, Chipotle Hollandaise". It was pretty good. My friend got the Vaca Frita- "Cuban Skirt Steak, Latin Pork Fried Rice, Avocado, Fried Eggs" which was way better. If you are a meat lover, I recommend the Vaca Frita. The portions were a on the medium/large side. We all left full and pretty typsy.

Tip: Reservations are hard to get so I recommend making one right away. We made ours 8 weeks in advance. This is a great place if you have a large party

2.

Place: Barraca

Address: 81 Greenwich Avenue (at the corner of Bank Street)

Price: Under $30. Menu prices are low + $15 for unlimited sangria

I got/ I recommend: I got the Coca De Recapte- "Flatbread with pork sausage, fire roasted peppers, eggplants, onions, manchego, farm egg". It was like a big breakfast pizza! It was pretty good but a little soggy in the middle. Not my favorite thing but my friends got some amazing items from the menu. The Huevos Benedictos (aka eggs Benedict) was great! They have roughly 9 flavors of sangria and they kept flowing. The atmosphere was great! Super cozy and candle lit...even for brunch. The crowd is also really attractive so you get a nice view while enjoying good food and drinks.

Tip: Make reservations as this place gets really busy.

3.

Place: The Half Pint

Address: 76 W 3rd St, New York, NY 10012

Price: $30. Food prices are reasonable and to add unlimited drinks it is an additional $18

I got/ I recommend: Biscuits and Sausage Gravy. The gravy was amazinngggg! My friends got the Bulldog Burger, which they said was great as well! The burger was huge! The unlimited mimosas kept flowing

XOXO!
